Dre Véronique Dubois
Dre Dubois has been a member of our veterinary team since 2000. An experienced veterinarian, she is devoted to providing the best care for her patients. Dre Dubois holds a special interest in dentistry and is our touchstone in this field. Although she loves all furry pets, Golden Retrievers are her weakness. Dre Dubois is accompanied by her cat Leila, a Ragdoll.
Dre Geneviève Blanchette
Since completing her studies in 2009, Dre Blanchette has excelled in her chosen profession within the Hôpital Vétérinaire Roussillon team. Her dynamic energy and passion for her work allow her to strive to provide new and innovative care adapted to your pet’s needs. Dre Blanchette is presented here with her cat Fafouine.
Dre Lovie Gauthier-Poulin
Having obtained her diploma in 2009, Dre Gauthier-Poulin joined our team in 2015 after 6 years practicing in the Eastern Townships. As comfortable speaking english as french, she will help counsel you through your decisions regarding your pet, always considering both your questions and your concerns. Dre Gauthier-Poulin has a special interest in preventative medicine and mobility issues. Even though she adores all of her canine and feline patients, she has a soft spot for large-breed dogs. She is accompanied by her cat Chewy.
Dre Marie-Ève Fortin
A graduate from the Université de Montréal, Dre Marie-Ève Fortin joined our team immediately after finishing her studies in 2016. Originally from the area, Dre Fortin decided to return to her roots to begin her career. Ever since she was little, she has dreamed of becoming a veterinarian and, despite her interest in the musical arts, she dedicated herself to achieving her goal of practicing this remarkable profession. Her interests include the fields of preventative medicine, behaviour, and shelter medicine, and she is always available to help her patients with devotion and empathy. Dre Fortin has a soft spot for her feline patients, including her own cat Charlot, pictured here.
Dr Richard Houle
Originally from Victoriaville, Dr Richard Houle joined our team in January 2017. Prior to graduating from the Faculté de Médecine Vétérinaire at the Université de Montréal in 2016, Dr Houle completed a degree in animal health technology at the Cégep de Sherbrooke, and continued to devote himself to the care of companion animals in a veterinary clinic during his university studies. He has a particular interest in dentistry and preventative medicine for dogs and cats. Dr Houle is a welcome addition to the team, and is well appreciated for his good humour and boundless energy. Dr Houle is accompanied by his cat Guillaume, a Cornish Rex.

Dr Edward Gallagher
It is our regret to have to announce the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Dr Edward Gallagher, who left us with heavy hearts on October 1st 2018. He was loved and respected by everyone he knew, friends, colleagues and the community.
Dr Gallagher, you’ve dedicated your life to animal health and we will continue this legacy in offering the best of care to our patients.
You left us too soon. We still miss you dearly.
A native of the west of Ireland, Dr Gallagher graduated from Tufts University in Boston in 1994 and soon began to practice veterinary medicine in the West Island of Montreal. Ready for a new challenge, he then took over as owner of Hôpital Vétérinaire Mercier in 2009, and Hôpital Vétérinaire Roussillon in 2014. He was known to have a soft spot for black cats and Scottish Terriers. Dr Gallagher is pictured here with Mado, one of our clinic mascots.
